A Note From Your Instructor

For most of my life, I didn’t realize I was neurodivergent; I just knew I was different.

I felt things more deeply than others.

I was often uncomfortable in my own skin.

I definitely didn't fit in.

I learned to mask in order to be more like everyone around me, not realizing that I was doing this just to survive in a world that didn’t understand my sensitivity or accommodate my uniqueness.

Because I wasn’t aware of these deeper parts of myself — like my inner child’s wounds, or the fear driving my people-pleasing and self-sabotage — I lost touch with who I truly was. I thought I had to earn love or prove my worth to feel accepted. In doing so, I moved further away from my authentic self.

All of this — the anxiety, the self-sabotage, the feeling of never being enough — was me trying to survive in a world that wasn't built for me. I didn’t know that I could be loved for being exactly who I am.

The real journey was about unlearning survival patterns and coming back home to myself.

Everything changed when I began the inner child healing work I now teach. It's not a quick fix, but it is a way back to myself.

Today, I feel grounded in who I am, safe in my body, and no longer hiding parts of myself to keep relationships intact. I’m building a life rooted in self-trust, nervous system safety, and genuine connection.
